Government

The WaterCell™ is a quality product which can be incorporated as an integral part of every new building. It is used to harvest rainwater, a natural resource which is currently considered by governments to have nuisance value only, and who spend many millions of taxpayer dollars for its disposal.

The WaterCell™ will provide a sustainable, clean water supply in a cost effective and affordable manner.

No chemical treatment is required and no adverse by-products or waste are produced.

Immediate and perpetual implementation of WaterCell™ technology, used in conjunction with the existing dam storage facilities, will sustain continued growth and development of urban areas.

It is irresponsible for government to construct massive new infrastructure which uses processes that are environmentally unsustainable, to manufacture a resource which is naturally available in abundance along the entire east coast of Australia.

Building Regulations must be amended to include conditions for the mandatory provision of rainwater harvesting for every new development.

The inclusion of "on-site" large capacity storage facilities, equal to at least 20% of the building's annual usage of water, are a fundamental component of this unique solution.

Properly structured regulations will encourage engineers to develop other innovative ways to better manage the economic use of this renewable resource and promote sustainable future development.
